All types of antique and collectible pottery, contemporary ceramics, dinnerware, stoneware, tile, figurines, and other types of vintage items and art will be on sale. Fifty of the best Pottery dealers from across the Midwest will participate, as well as noted studio potters. Pottery examples for sale will be Roseville, Van Briggle, Fulper, Rookwood, Weller, McCoy and Red Wing along with many more.  The dealers gather some of the best American and European pottery along with other vintage items to bring to this annual sale, and the contemporary potters bring many items right out of the kiln!

Along with all of the pottery for purchase, pottery experts from the WPA and additional volunteers from the Iowa Art Pottery Association (IAPA) and the Minnesota Art Pottery Association (MAPA) will be available to help identify pottery pieces brought in by show attendees. (Maximum of two pottery pieces please). There is no charge for the identification.

The Ceramic Arts Studio Collectors will hold their 23rd annual convention that weekend and information can be found at their web site www.cascollectors.com .  They will also have an information booth set up at the Pottery Show.  Many dealers at the show will have Ceramic Arts Studio pieces for sale!

Admission is only $5, and parking is free with the WPA show card, or download a card from the website: www.wisconsinpottery.org. The Wisconsin Pottery Association meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 9 times per year – February through December at the Goodman Center in Madison Wisconsin. The group gets together at 6 p.m. with a discussion about recent finds and mystery pieces.  A presentation about pottery or a related collecting field starts about 6:45 p.m. Please see the WPA web site at www.wisconsinpottery.org for more information on meetings, presentations, and membership.

We hope to see Pottery Lovers and Antique Collectors at the WPA Pottery Show/Sale on Saturday August 26th, 2017! We are proud to present our show and sale for the 22nd consecutive year. Our first show occurred in August of 1995 at the Holiday Inn east in Madison WI. Betty Harrington, the designer of Ceramic Arts Studio Madison was the featured speaker. The WPA  art pottery show and sale is a great opportunity to find just the piece you were looking for or to learn more about the many pottery or vintage items offered for sale!
